I qualified as a Personal Trainer and Life Coach in 2016. I jumped into my own business and was fully booked just a few months later.  

I was so busy and thought success was working loads of hours and training as many people as possible. I worked until 10pm four nights a week and was miserable. 

I was busy. 

I was earning good money. 

I was helping to transform the lives of some of my clients.


The busier my diary, the less I could focus on my clients' real problems and working more wasn't the answer. Despite my attention in the gym, many clients made excuses and left after a few months.


Most of my clients were over 40, struggling to juggle a hectic life and their fitness. 

I knew how difficult it was for them to get started and how they must have felt like a failure when they didn't make progress. I was like them: similar age, busy lifestyle and desperate to hold off the ageing process.

I wanted everyone to win. And when they didn't, I began to take it personally. I thought I was at fault, and soon it wasn't fun anymore. I began to think that I must be turning into a bad person for feeling that way. 

Yet, deep down, I still believed I could help these clients. I just hadn't figured out how and couldn't do it while working 70 hours weekly in the gym.

It dawned on me that the problem wasn't what the client was doing in the gym. That was fine. They were getting fitter and stronger.  The issue was what they were doing outside the gym. Their mindset and habits were holding them back.


So I decided to take a week off work to clear my head and analyse my clients, their circumstances, barriers and how I could help them to change.

I discovered 3 things: 

1) Doers and feelers - Some people 'do' regardless of how they feel. Others 'do' things if they feel like it.


2) Owners and victims - Some blame and make excuses, while others take ownership and responsibility.

3) It's not "all their fault." - There's always personal responsibility. But other factors can influence the decision-making process. So it's essential to recognise and develop the skills to overcome them.

I made it my mission to figure out how to use this breakthrough to guarantee remarkable results. These things will make or break successful lifestyle transformations. 

I invested countless hours learning about coaching, behaviour change, nutrition, fitness, and, most importantly, how to implement what I learnt. 

I then developed a system based on this discovery that I began to use with each client. This dramatic change has allowed me to teach 100s of people to Think Well, Move Well, Eat Well.

The result? 

Clients took control of their lives and success. 

With my guidance, they recognised that their emotions were dictating their behaviour and stopped them from progressing. They identified the barriers holding them back and learnt the skills to overcome them. They became doers and no longer waited for things to happen; instead, they made the things happen that they needed to.

In short, they became owners of their lives.
